Greetings and salutations!

Lava Springs Home Watch of Redmond, Oregon, has earned Accredited Member status from the NHWA.

Owner Scott Hartley decided to expand on the family business to include Home Watch services when he found himself with extra time on his hands. He dedicated 10 years to being a volunteer football coach, from pee wee to high school, and loved every minute of it, but needed to stay busy when it ended.

Lava Springs Snowbird Service is a property management company that provides Home Watch services for second homes and vacation rental homes. The company performs vacation rental management and hot tub maintenance. The Home Watch service grew organically from their hot tub clients asking, “Can you check that our heater is on, or did we lock the door when we left?” Word of mouth spread and owners began recommending Lava Springs Home Watch to their friends.

Scott has worked from the roof to the crawl spaces. He paid for college working as a roofer and satellite installer. Framing houses taught him what to look for behind the walls, and a few years as a cable installer honed his customer service skills.

Scott and his wife, Traci, have been married for 22 years. They have two sons in college. Scott loves to ride his dirt bike, work out, and spend time with his family. He is currently training for a Warrior Run.
