4 Seasons Home Services of Sunriver, OR, earns accreditation from the NHWA!
Owners Aaron and Amy Tarnow purchased 4 Seasons in 2019. For over 29 years, 4 Seasons has provided Home Watch services to the resort community of Sunriver. The Tarnows are excited to be expanding into more of Central Oregon, including the Bend, Crosswater, and Caldera Springs areas. Right now, they service just over 130 homes and offer executive-level cleaning services and the coordination of calendars for multi-family vacation homes, in addition to Home Watch.
The Bend and Sunriver communities are located almost exactly in the center of Oregon. Because 4 Seasons is located on the east side of the Cascades Mountain Range, their climate is a high-desert rain shadow, not the rainy forest that many people associate with Oregon. Bend is located at about 3500 feet in elevation, while Sunriver is at 4000 feet. Their region is growing greatly, both with permanent residents and vacationers. Visitors and residents alike enjoy more than 300 days of sunshine a year, where they can play golf, ski at Mt. Bachelor (18 miles away and open from November to June), bike on miles of trails, play in the Deschutes River, or recreate in numerous other ways.
Aaron moved to Bend from Traverse City, Michigan, in 2007 and with Amy enjoys all that their area has to offer: whitewater rafting, skiing, biking, and camping with their two young children. Prior to purchasing 4 Seasons, Aaron worked in the medical field as an orthotist/prosthetist, while managing several rentals on the side. Though quite a career change, Aaron finds the customer service aspects of Home Watch to be a fun and engaging change of pace. Amy is a native Oregonian and works full-time as a school administrator. She helps Aaron with bookkeeping and other management responsibilities for 4 Seasons.
As they learn and build their business, Aaron and Amy look forward to meeting and interacting with other members of the NHWA. They have no doubt that networking will play a large role in their success and plan on giving back to the community as they expand their business.
A little about the National Home Watch Association: The NHWA was formed in 2009 in order to establish and maintain the highest industry standards for Home Watch and absentee homeowner services throughout the United States and Canada (www.nationalhomewatchassociation.org).
