Southern Hospitality Home Watch & Home Services of Bradenton, Florida, has earned Accredited Member status from the NHWA for the third consecutive year!
Owners Jason (Jay) and Jana Hancock have been in business since 2014.
Jay was born and raised in Manatee County, Florida, and has lived there his entire life, except for three years when he lived in New Mexico. He moved there after the construction market collapsed. There he married his life-long friend, Jana. Jay has been a cabinet installer since 1999 and honed his skills in trim carpentry and remodeling homes. He was a maintenance supervisor for a 280-unit apartment community, responsible for vendor management, maintenance staff, interior/exterior maintenance, pool/spa compliance, repairs, and make-ready completion. Also while in New Mexico, Jay operated a home inspection business where he became certified in many systems and inspections.
Jason takes pride in all types of homes he works with and believes his honest approach to life and business is the assurance clients are looking for when leaving their homes for any period of time.
Jana was born and raised in Michigan, where she lived for 26 years. Her family background was in the custom-home building profession. She moved to New Mexico, where she began a 20-year career in residential property management. Jana became a national instructor for the property management industry after learning every aspect of operations. She managed 1800 units.
Named appropriately after Jason (the Southern one) and Jana (the hospitable one), Southern Hospitality is here to provide you with the peace of mind knowing that your home is taken care of while you’re away, but they also offer other types of home services that make your Florida home more enjoyable anytime.
