Always Home Property Management of Manchester Center, VT, earns third-year accreditation from the NHWA!

Jack Luber
Executive Director

Greetings!

The NHWA is pleased to announce that Always Home Property Management of Manchester Center, Vermont, has earned Accredited Member status for the third year.

It is always great when I get to meet members of the National Home Watch Association for the first time. Normally, I expect to meet members in a setting with a registration table or when we are wearing our name tags. Not this time—not with John Phillips. After a very long day of traveling from South Carolina to Phoenix Sky Harbor with our entourage, we load onto the shuttle. As we loaded into the van, this guy looks at me and says, “Hi Jack”. I looked at him and knew we had never met. He laughed, introduced himself and said, “You look just like your picture,” and we all had a good laugh. We talked a lot on the ride to the hotel, and he told me how he got started.

More than 15 years ago, John had the idea of starting his own property management company that focused on many of the principles he followed in his nearly 20-year hospitality career. That idea became reality when he moved back home in 2012 and realized that many of the seasonal property owners in South Vermont’s ski communities were in need of Home Watch services year-round. Today, John has grown his business by focusing on communication with clients, trust, and ensuring that all of his clients “feel at home.”

John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality from Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island and a Master’s degree in Hospitality from Dublin Institute of Technology in Ireland.

John lives in Manchester with his wife, Jennifer, their son, Landon, and Yorkshire Terrier, Bodhi.
