At Your Service Home Watch of Venice, Florida, has earned accreditation from the NHWA for the fourth year.
Russell “Rusty” McCord served the community of Englewood for 26 years. He started as a firefighter and advanced to lieutenant, then Battalion Chief, finishing his career as Assistant Chief of the Englewood Fire Department. He also served for eight years as union representative. Rusty was also a fire inspector and arson investigator. He has an Associate’s Degree in Fire Science. Prior to becoming a firefighter, he was a construction worker for 11 years. He is very handy around the house.
Vickie McCord brings a wealth of experience to At Your Service Home Watch. She has many years of cleaning experience and at one time owned a cleaning business. Vickie has worked in the medical field, serving her community for over 25 years, first as a medical assistant. She then decided to further her career and go back to school. Vickie attended Keiser University, where she received an Associate’s Degree in Nursing; she is currently working as an RN in the community.
Rusty and Vickie are both graduates of the NHWA’s Home Watch Boot Camp and have earned the designation of Certified Home Watch Professional, which places them into the category of elite Home Watch providers in the industry. The CHWP designation and Boot Camp training exemplify their commitment to Home Watch excellence.
Rusty and Vickie met in high school and have been married for 39 years. They have three grown children. Sons Rusty, Jr., and Steven have followed in their father’s footsteps and are also firemen. Their daughter, Heather, is an x-ray technician. They have six grandchildren.
