Boone Home Watch of Creston, NC, earns their fifth-year accreditation!

Jennifer Walker

Boone Home Watch of Creston, North Carolina, has earned accreditation from the NHWA for the fifth year.

Owner Jennifer Walker is a native North Carolinian who enjoyed spending her summers in NC and the rest of the year in Texas. She, her husband, Doak, and their family had struggled with balancing homes in both places at the same time. They would worry about packages sitting out on the porch, ladybugs overtaking their home while the family was gone (and they will do that!), wondering if the gutters were filling up, if pipes were leaking, or the mower didn’t come and having their yard resemble a jungle. They wondered if the house would be safe until their return. Their neighbors were always willing to help out, but Jen and Doak didn’t want to bother them all the time. This is how the idea of Boone Home Watch transpired.

In May of 2018, Jen, Doak, and the family made their permanent move to the mountains of North Carolina. Jen established Boone Home Watch because it’s a service that she would have loved to have found, and she enjoys offering it to others in the area.

Jen has earned the designation of Certified Home Watch Professional from the NHWA, making her one of the elite Home Watch providers in the industry. The CHWP designation shows Jen’s commitment to providing excellent service to her clients.

Jen has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas in Applied Learning and Development. She earned her NC Realtor’s license, concentrating on investment properties and the family’s vacation rental, which earned them Super Host status for their five-star reviews. Her passion is helping others enjoy their time with family when on vacation and being able to rest assured that their home is being watched and cared for while they are gone.

Boone Home Watch serves the Highlands area, from Boone to West Jefferson. You can reach Jen at (512) 971-4961 or at Learn more from her website,

Congratulations, Jen!

As always, I wish you

Much success,

Jack Luber
