Greetings and salutations!
Castle Home Checks, Inc. of Greensboro, Georgia, has earned Accredited Member status in the NHWA for the third consecutive year.
Owners Wayne and Sheila Smith relocated to Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro three years ago, after meeting and living in England, where their paths crossed over a flooding disaster. Sheila was the property manager for an executive home which had a burst pipe in the attic, and Wayne was appointed by the insurance company as the disaster manager. After their courtship, they married on April Fool’s Day in 2006!
Wayne had a career in the military Special Forces, as a law enforcement officer for 21 years, and in disaster management. He has volunteered with the Old Salem Fire Department and is currently their Fire Boat Captain. He has successfully completed his Emergency Medical Response course and in the past six months has qualified as a volunteer firefighter.
Born in Surrey, England, Sheila has a career history spanning over 25 years in property management and brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience, from selling and renting homes to refurbishments and inventory work.
With Wayne’s background in disaster management and Sheila’s background in property management, Castle Home Checks is ideally experienced to be able to offer Home Watch and key holder services to absentee homeowners.
Wayne and Sheila have five children between them, with three living in England and two in the USA, along with their three grandchildren. They enjoy scuba diving and riding their motorcycles–although not at the same time!
We’ve had the pleasure of spending time with Sheila at all three of the NHWA’s Annual North American Conferences, most recently in September.
Castle Home Checks serves the neighborhoods of Reynolds Plantation, The Landings, Great Waters, Cuscowilla, Harbor Club and the surrounding areas of Lake Oconee and Lake Sinclair. They can be reached at (706) 817 0889 or at Sheila@castlehomechecks.com. You can also visit them on their web at www.castlehomechecks.com.
Congratulations, Wayne and Sheila!
As always, I wish you
Much success,
Jack
