Coastal Carolina Home Watch of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, has earned accreditation from the NHWA for the 11th year.
Owner Jack Luber began the very first professional Home Watch service on the Grand Strand and Waccamaw Neck of South Carolina in 2005. Because of his own concerns and needs as a part-time resident and vacation homeowner who lived out of state, he realized that it made sense to offer a service to others like him who were looking for someone to keep an eye on things at his place while he wasn’t in South Carolina. Jack and his team visit and inspect homes for people who are out of town for weeks, months, and sometimes even years. The team sends reports with pictures to make sure their clients know that everything is okay in their absence. CCHW meets with and arranges for scheduled services and maintenance. They can arrange for cleaning, handyman services, and pretty much anything else that the homeowner requests.
The CCHW team is very involved in the community. Jack serves on the boards of the Pawleys Island Litchfield Business Association (PILBA) and the Children’s Recovery Center, which is the child advocacy center for Horry and Georgetown Counties. Coastal Carolina Home Watch is a member of the Georgetown County Chamber of Commerce and an affiliate member of the Coastal Carolina Association of Realtors.
Jack is also the founder and Executive Director of the National Home Watch Association, a trade association of Home Watch companies operating in over 40 U.S. states, four Canadian provinces, and now in Australia, that vets member companies for correct insurance and consumer complaints, conducts criminal background checks, and requires adherence to the highest ethics and best practices in the Home Watch industry.
Coastal Carolina Home Watch serves the entire South Strand-Waccamaw Neck to Debordieu, and the North Strand to Cherry Grove, including Pawleys Island, Litchfield Beach, Murrells Inlet, Surfside Beach, Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, and Carolina Forest.
