Greetings!

Coastal Home Watch of Ocean City, Maryland, has earned accreditation from the NHWA.

Owners Allen and Gretchen Meyer moved from Baltimore County and made Ocean City their permanent home in 2018. They have owned properties in Ocean City since 2004 and understand the importance of property care during the owner’s absence.

Allen retired in 2018 after serving over 31 years in law enforcement. He was a trusted and effective criminal investigator and leader, committed to providing professional services to the community.

Gretchen spent much of her career in the service industry and was the Chief Financial Officer for her family’s manufacturing business. She  earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and minored in Criminal Justice.

Both Allen and Gretchen have owned and operated small businesses throughout their careers. Allen owned and operated a business selling, installing, and repairing carpet. Gretchen owned and operated a small business that provided bookkeeping and managerial support to various companies. They now look forward to their new venture, Coastal Home Watch, where together they will be committed to the needs and concerns of local property owners.
