Executive Director

Greetings!

Colorado River Home Watch of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, has earned Accredited Member status from the NHWA for the third year.

Marie Johnson of Colorado River Home Watch is great person and great member of the NHWA. I met Marie two years ago in Estero, Florida, at our 2016 Conference. We spent more time in January of 2017, at the inaugural meeting of the Arizona Chapter of the NHWA. We have gotten to know each other even better, because she helped with the 2017 Conference in Phoenix and is an active member of the AZ Chapter. Marie’s background as a police officer for more than 15 years speaks to her commitment to helping people. Her attention to detail and always striving to better herself explain her rising through the ranks to retire as a detective. Marie has a Master’s Degree in Police Leadership, Administration and Education. Her training and experience include field training officer, firearms instructor, use of force instructor, and fire and arson investigator.

In Minnesota, Marie owned and operated Marie’s Maintenance for several years, providing housekeeping, interior painting, and handyman services. A lifelong resident of Minnesota, Marie became an Arizona “snowbird” before moving permanently in 2015 to Lake Havasu City.

Marie’s latest accomplishment was earning the Certified Home Watch Professional designation, which is the highest designation in the Home Watch industry today.
