Congrats to Home Sitters of Osterville, MA, on its tenth-year accreditation!
The National Home Watch Association is proud to accredit Home Sitters, Inc. of Osterville, Massachusetts, for the 10th consecutive year. I have had the pleasure of knowing the owner, Pete Barattini, for these past 10 years. He is one of my favorite people and has been to some of our conferences. Pete always adds his perspective and humor to many of the topics discussed. His commitment to the Home Watch industry and the NHWA is one of the reasons that Home Sitters is always on the forefront of the Home Watch industry.
Pete and his wife, Janet, began caretaking on Cape Cod in 1985. They started Home Sitters in 1998, when they realized that it should be a full-time occupation. Pete’s background working in security and his membership in the Barnstable Citizens Police Academy reinforced his knowledge of just how vulnerable vacant homes on the Cape are. Add to that the fact that an empty home brings its own set of problems. It became obvious to Pete and his wife Janet what their future held in store—Home Sitters.
While Pete is the one out in the field, Janet runs the office and tells Pete what to do. Janet is a multi-generational Cape Codder and a graduate of Bryant University. They have been married for more than 30 years and have four children.
Home Sitters, Inc., is a member of the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce and serves Barnstable, Falmouth, Sandwich, Brewster, Chatham, Harwich, and Mashpee. They can be reached at (508) 428-4471 or at email@example.com. Learn more at their website, www.CapeHomeSitters.com.
Congratulations, Pete and Janet!
