Advanced Home Watch Services of Scottsdale, Arizona, has earned second-year accreditation from the NHWA.
Originating from Illinois, Co-owner Rhonda Waldersen made Arizona her home in 1994. She has lived in Phoenix, Carefree, and currently resides in North Scottsdale/Rio Verde Foothills. After getting her bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from Arizona State University, Rhonda pursued a career in the financial markets for a brief time until she realized her passion was in real estate. She has been a full-time real estate professional for 17 years, with a break to raise her children.
Having owned a second home in Northern Arizona for many years, Rhonda understands the concerns of owning an unoccupied property. In her free time, she volunteers a few hours a week at a local horse rescue ranch, which brings her much joy. She enjoys horseback riding on her two Arabian horses, snow-skiing, reading, spending time with her husband of 36 years and her two children and enjoying the outdoors.
Rhonda is known for her attention to detail, high standards of integrity, strong principles, and always doing what she says she will do. She is passionate about helping others.
Co-owner Patty Knox-Hermann is a high-energy real estate broker with immense industry knowledge. She has lived in the Valley for more than 40 years and is an owner/designated broker; Patty is also the marketing rep for a local general contractor. She brings to the table her highly professional real estate ability and her decades of residential construction background, earning her a reputation for knowing her way around a house. Patty’s services are not just tied to the Valley; she has a cabin in the Arizona mountains and monitors her own as well as several other properties in the off-season.
In addition to her professional life, Patty volunteers as Vice President of the Phoenix Metro Chamber Foundation, a non-profit organization raising money for local charities focusing on helping children, veterans, and animals in her community. She is also married to an amazing man and mother to eight children (including bonus kids)! Patty’s clients become friends. Her faith, family, and friends are most important to her.
Rhonda and Patty have loved their real estate clients and realized there was a need to have their homes watched over while they are not there.
