Greetings!
C’s Home & Office Management of Sag Harbor, New York, has earned accreditation from the NHWA for the ninth year.
In 1993, owner Cynthia Capalbo started cleaning houses in her hometown of Sag Harbor to bring in extra money while earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. In 2000, as her business was growing, she and her husband, Chris, welcomed their twins, Haley and Christopher. Shortly thereafter, they both lost their mothers to pancreatic cancer. Cindy then became interested in finding alternative ways to treat illnesses and disease. She went back to school and earned her Master’s degree in Herbology. She thought it would be smart business and personally rewarding to incorporate her knowledge into her business by offering organic cleaning products and becoming a certified Green Cleaning Company.
Chris is originally from Pawling, New York. He was always a jack-of-all-trades, even figuring a way out of his crib! Chris’s creative energy and determination has helped define him ever since. With any challenge, big or small, Chris will figure out a solution, and he won’t stop until it’s done.
Chris lived in California and Colorado, where he spent many happy years training horses, running farms, and managing laborers, until he was badly hurt in an accident where a horse went back on him. After several surgeries, he decided to move back to the Northeast. He relocated to Connecticut, where he worked doing house management. He and Cindy met and became partners in the house-cleaning business, and C’s Home & Office Management was born.
Chris takes caretaking to the next level by working with a checklist of house tasks. Cindy creates client reports from Chris’s work list that provide extra value to their clients. Chris says what he likes most about home management is, “To proactively prevent issues. Maintenance can save homeowners money on repairs.”
