Desert Home Guardian Services of Fountain Hills, Arizona, has earned Accredited Member status from the NHWA.

I love to meet Home Watchers because I enjoy hearing the stories of how and why they started their new business. I had the pleasure of spending some time with Diane and Pete Santiago earlier this month in Phoenix. So here is their story: Starting their careers with Fortune 50 companies in Florida, they transferred their lives to Arizona in 1991.

Diane and Pete found their first home in Paradise Valley, later moved to Scottsdale, and currently reside full-time in Fountain Hills. They are veterans of Arizona living and know every nook and cranny this beautiful desert state has to offer. Because of their caring personalities and knowledge of Arizona businesses and suppliers, Pete and Diane became the “go-to” folks for family, friends, and acquaintances when Home Watch services, recommendations for impeccable restaurants, and hot sights to visit were needed. Due to the pure enjoyment of this “go-to” role and trusting relationships that were built over the years, the Santiagos formed Desert Home Guardian Services.

Being travelers themselves, Pete and Diane understand how important trusted and committed care is to a home owner, whether they are taking a two-week vacation or a six-month getaway to a cooler climate. Their dedication to relationships and diligent home guardian services is demonstrated by “walking in your shoes.”  Clients lean on them to watch over their homes and prep them for an amazing first day back to their Arizona residences.
