Diligent Home Watch of Palm Desert, CA, earns accreditation from the NHWA!

Greetings!

Diligent Home Watch of Palm Desert, California, has earned Accredited Member status from the NHWA.

After many years of frequent weekend visits to the Coachella Valley, Owners Rick and Ellie Hively decided to make the Desert their permanent home in 2015. Since they were now living full-time in the desert, a few relatives and friends asked if they would mind going over to their homes occasionally, just to make sure everything was okay. After a couple of years doing this, Rick and Ellie discovered how rewarding and enjoyable it is to help friends and family have peace of mind that their home is being well taken care of when they were not there.

Having owned their own sales and marketing firm for the past 23 years, Rick and Ellie thought, “What better way to put down roots in the Desert than to have a family-owned business that provides a real service to homeowners?” Thus, Diligent Home Watch was born.

Rick graduated from Washington State University with a general business degree and immediately started working in the business industry in sales and marketing. Ellie graduated from college with a nursing degree and works as a registered nurse.  

I got to spend some time with Rick yesterday during my stop in Palm Springs.
