Homewatch Services Etc., Inc. has been going strong since 2002. We are accredited through the National Home Watch Association (NHWA), bonded and insured. Unfortunately there is no license available in Florida for the home watch industry…it just doesn’t exist. If there was, we would absolutely have one. We do however hold an active status with the Florida Division of Corporations and an active Local Business Tax Receipt through our county. We are proud to be family owned and operated. Family owned and operated means you get the genuine care that only a family can provide.

We manage and perform home watch inspections, provide concierge services, and coordinate maintenance and service of residential properties. So, if you are an absentee owner and have a vacation home, residential home, or an investment property…then you need US!

We are one of the older more experienced home watch providers in Southwest Florida. Our #1 service provided is home watch and we take it seriously. We are trained with our industry’s/profession’s best practices and we utilize electronic reports with GPS technology for our clients. Having a neighbor stop in periodically as a favor to check your home may initially seem like a good idea. However, when a serious issue arises or you need someone to take swift action on your behalf, your property can quickly become an imposition to your neighbor. That is why it is important to have a trained professional methodically inspect your home, complete a detailed inspection report per visit, and have the ability to swiftly coordinate licensed professionals to assist in the repair and maintenance of your home when something goes awry. I make it clear to our clients that we are not home inspectors or mold inspectors. That line of work carries a much different degree of training and state certification. We are “homewatch (home watch)” inspectors. The definition of Home Watch is the visual inspection of a home or property looking for obvious issues. If we notice any abnormalities, we immediately report it to you, and assist in coordinating licensed professionals to remedy the situation on your behalf in your absence. Essentially, we become an advocate for you in your absence, as a trusted resource.

ABOUT OWNER CARL LORENZINI

As the owner of Homewatch Services Etc., many clients like to know a little about me. I am married to my beautiful bride Brittany, and we believe in running our family business on Christian principles of integrity. I’m originally from Illinois and Indiana and moved down to Bonita Springs, Florida in 2001. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, I’m a licensed Florida Real Estate Sales Associate, and was previously a licensed Community Association Manager (CAM). I’ve been involved in property management for the past 17 years. I’ve managed seasonal and annual investment properties in the Bonita Springs and Naples area along with a portfolio of several community associations in Fort Myers. I understand the importance of maintaining vacant properties. I also understand and respect the level of trust extended to me and my company when a client chooses to utilize our home watch services in Bonita Springs, Naples, and Estero areas. It’s a privilege that comes with great responsibility.

Continued education is very important, and so I have earned the designation of “Certified Home Watch Professional” through the National Home Watch Association (NHWA). Certification is achieved through the completion of a training curriculum and examination based on the NHWA’s Best Practices and input from leading Home Watch business owners throughout the United States and Canada. Certification lets the public know of a Home Watch professional’s commitment to excellence, by upholding the very highest of standards in the Home Watch industry.
