Elite Home Watchers of Lakewood Ranch, FL, earns second-year accreditation from the NHWA!

Tom and Elizabeth Fitzpatrick

Elite Home Watchers of Lakewood Ranch, Florida, has earned accreditation from the NHWA for the second year.

Owners Tom and Elizabeth Fitzpatrick met on a horse farm in a small North Georgia town. Elizabeth was raised on Signal Mountain in Tennessee. She attended the University of Tennessee – Knoxville. Elizabeth’s caring nature led her to a fulfilling career as a massage therapist. She specialized in sports and neuromuscular therapy; she worked on a variety of sports figures and entertainers. Elizabeth’s creativity and love of fine food called her to transform a former 1920s pharmacy into an award-winning restaurant that was featured in Southern Living Magazine. The process ignited a love of architecture and the possibilities that come when transforming spaces. As a Realtor, Elizbeth expanded her passions for helping others along their individual real estate journeys, building solid relationships with her clients.

Tom was born and raised in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. He graduated from Kansas State University, earned an MBA and a Master’s in Project Management, and spent 20 years in various roles that took him around the world.

While Elizabeth and Tom began working together as a real estate team, they focused on investing, rehabbing, and selling properties, while helping others do the same. A family situation prompted them to move from Chattanooga to Sarasota; they wanted to move south to be close to family. Like so many in Florida, part of their family spends six months of the year out of state. Tom and Elizabeth experienced the need for Home Watch services first-hand and saw what a huge help it is to folks who have second homes and investment properties. Elizabeth has owned and run several successful businesses; she has a laser focus on customer satisfaction, an eye for detail, and a legacy of integrity. Tom and Elizabeth’s passion for helping people makes every interaction unique and valuable.

Tom and Elizabeth are both graduates of the NHWA’s Home Watch Boot Camp and have earned the designation of Certified Home Watch Professional, which puts them into the category of elite Home Watch providers in the industry. The CHWP designation and Boot Camp training exemplify Tom and Elizabeth’s commitment to Home Watch excellence.

I met Tom and Elizabeth on my Florida tour in August. They also participated in our 2022 North American Conference in October.

Elizabeth and Tom love spending time with their Great Dane, Ladybug (“Bug”), who turned 11 in May. They are animal lovers, outdoor enthusiasts, and are inspired to do what they can to make a positive impact on the world.
