GMan Home Watch Sarasota, of Venice, FL, earns Accredited Member status from the NHWA!​

Greetings!

Gman Home Watch Sarasota of Venice, Florida, has earned Accredited Member status from the NHWA.

For over 21 years, owner Phillip Mockler has served his country and his community. He served eight years in the military (four active duty in the U.S. Marines and four in the U.S. Army Reserves, with two tours of duty overseas). He then served more than 16 years in law enforcement, seven with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (Tampa), and nine where he is currently a member of a local law enforcement agency.

Throughout his more than two decades in both military and law enforcement service, Phillip has consistently gone above and beyond, earning many awards and commendations, including receiving a law enforcement award in 2017 for “Dedication and Professionalism” from Congressman Buchanan.

Phillip also volunteers with the Junior Law Academy and Sheriff’s Activities League of Sarasota County, two programs geared toward youth development and relationship building with law enforcement. He also serves as Vice President of My Warriors Place, a not-for-profit organization that serves the needs of veterans, military service members, first responders, and Gold, Blue, and Silver Star families. In 2020, Phillip was recognized by Sarasota Magazine and was a recipient of the 2020 Unity Award for his work in the community.

Phillip lives in south Sarasota County with his wife, Cindy, where they are raising their two sons. During their off time, they enjoy boating, exploring state and local parks, and camping.

Manager Chris Hudson has been serving his country and community in law enforcement and the military for over 20 years. He began his career in the U.S. Marines in 1993 and has over 16 years in law enforcement. He is currently a member of a local law enforcement agency.

Chris has over 20 years of handyman experience, with seven years building and installing custom cabinets. He is actively involved in the community, mentoring high-school and middle-school students. He volunteers with My Warriors Place, along with Phillip. Chris currently lives in the Venice area with his wife and two children.

We love stories about our members giving back to their communities, and Phillip and Chris are great examples of that. We are proud of them and happy to welcome them to the NHWA!
