Golden Rule Home Watch & Concierge of Herndon, Virginia, has earned accreditation from the NHWA for the fifth year.

Dan Lender began his career as a registered pharmacist in Western Pennsylvania. Moving to Northern Virginia in 1998, he changed fields completely and started what was to become a very successful career in software. Over the next 20 years, he held various positions within the enterprise software industry, ultimately settling into the fast-moving world of cyber security/cyber threat intelligence space. Dan had the opportunity to work with many of the largest enterprise customers in the Mid-Atlantic region.

With an abundance of experience in sales, information technology, cyber security, home repair, and building strong client relationships, Dan felt it was time to put all of that knowledge to work to help others. In 2017, he envisioned services that would benefit homeowners. Developing the Hi-Tech Hi-Touch Home Watch System℠ and CarWatch℠ approaches to monitoring homes and automobiles for their absentee owners, Dan co-founded Golden Rule Home Watch & Concierge to provide innovative Home Watch services. 

A native of Western Pennsylvania, Amy Lender moved to Northern Virginia in 2002. She enjoys the amazing opportunities that living in the Washington, D.C., metro area offers her family. With a degree in nursing from the University of Pittsburgh, Amy has worked extensively within the healthcare system. She understands that providing client services needs to be based upon the wants and desires of the individual. Amy knows that only by thoroughly listening and seeking to understand can a solution be found.

Bringing this mindset to Golden Rule Home Watch & Concierge, Dan and Amy’s goal is to provide superior service to every client. Fundamental to establishing a strong relationship is making sure that their clients are well educated and fully aware of every aspect of the services that Golden Rule provides. When clients are informed and confident, their interactions with Golden Rule result in the favorable outcomes of improved peace of mind and time back in their day.

Dan has earned the designation of Certified Home Watch Professional from the NHWA, making him one of the elite Home Watch providers in the industry. The CHWP designation shows his commitment to providing excellent service to his clients. Dan is very active in the NHWA: he is one of the NHWA’s Home Watch Boot Camp instructors, as well as the Chapter Lead for the our Mid-Atlantic Chapter.
