Greetings!
Happy Home Watch of Sarasota, of Sarasota, Florida, has earned Accredited Member status from the NHWA.
Originally from Ohio, owner Katie Stricker has been visiting Siesta Key since she was a baby, and her grandparents spent their winters on the Key. When she was old enough to realize this area could be her home, Katie says, “Ohio had no hope!” Southwest Florida has indeed been Katie’s home since 2000, and Sarasota specifically, since 2008, when she moved there to finish her Master’s degree in Adult Education. That degree never got put to use. O’Leary’s Tiki Bar was a side job that beat out every career she was looking at.
Katie became interested in the Home Watch industry when she realized how many of her friends’ homes she was checking on when they were away. She saw so many things that can happen to an unoccupied home, from mold infestations to vandalism. Katie decided to make it official, and Happy Home Watch of Sarasota was formed. Happy Home Watch is “happily here for your home.”
Katie has earned the designation of Certified Home Watch Professional and has graduated from the NHWA’s Home Watch Boot Camp, making her one of the elite Home Watch providers in the industry. The CHWP designation and Home Watch Boot Camp training show Katie’s commitment to providing excellent service to her clients.
