Trevor Farmer
Home Watch of North Idaho, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, has earned accreditation from the NHWA.
Owner Trevor Farmer is a fifth-generation Idahoan, born in Boise. He moved to Island Park and grew up hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, snow skiing, and doing water sports. At a young age, he would work with his father, building boat docks and framing homes in the mountains. Trevor went on to become a journeyman electrician in the late ‘90s and 2000s. He then joined the U.S. Military in 2002 and stayed until 2007. He was Explosive Ordnance Disposal and deployed a few times to the Middle East and once in the States to help out after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. After the Military, the economy was down, so he became a local truck driver.
In 2018, Trevor started his own general contracting/handyman company. This is where he learned about Home Watch; he stumbled upon it when he was doing a remodel for a client who asked him if he would watch their second home, and the rest is history. From there, Trevor learned how to do Home Watch the right way and ran with it. He has met some of the most amazing people doing Home Watch. It affords him the opportunity to hire his wife and kids and allows Trevor to earn a living while being out and about. He specializes in rural properties in North Idaho that are usually not accessible in the winter.
Home Watch of North Idaho serves all of North Idaho: Kootenai, Bonner, Boundary, and Benewah Counties, including Coeur d Alene, Athol, Sandpoint, Bonners Ferry, Worley, Post Falls, and Harrison.
