Greetings!
Home Watch Services of Florida, of Kissimmee/Orlando, Florida, has earned Accredited Member status from the NHWA for the fourth year.
It became apparent to owner Michael Weiser that there was a need for a responsible and reputable Home Watch professional in the Kissimmee/Orlando area, which is a very popular spot for vacationers and snowbirds. He was already watching homes for relatives who also live abroad, as well as those who were snowbirds. So, he started Home Watch Services of Florida in January of 2016.
In 2017, Michael learned first-hand why it is crucial to have a professional Home Watch service. After returning from a 12-day trip to India with his wife, Ashoo, and their daughter, Saiya, to visit family, he found that a toilet had malfunctioned and caused over $25,000 in damages–to his own home! Talk about validating what you do?
Michael graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a business degree in 1992. He spent the last 20+ years working in retail management. Michael understands the importance of maintaining a vacant home, as well as the responsibility and trust that are needed when hiring a Home Watch professional.
It was great to see Michael at our 2019 North American Conference in Fort Myers, Florida, earlier this month.
