Mains Co Home Watch of Vero Beach, FL, earns Accredited Member status from the NHWA!
Owner Debbie Mains was born in South Florida and grew up in East Tennessee. She moved back to Florida in 1989. Her first job in Florida was working for a luxury real estate company on the barrier island. Debbie later earned her real estate license and worked in both the rental market and sales.
Mains Co is a local, family-owned and -operated company. The Mainses have lived and worked in Vero Beach since 1989. Their Home Watch division was formed when they realized there was a need for it. While providing exterior cleaning services to their clients, some of them expressed their desire to have a reliable and professional company take care of their homes while they were away. They had legitimate concerns about leaving their homes unattended for the season. Although some clients had a neighbor or a family member check on their homes periodically, they did not feel completely comfortable with that arrangement. What would happen if there was a problem while they were out of town? Would it be found right away, or would it be weeks before it was discovered? If repairs were needed, how would they get those completed? They wanted to have a professional Home Watch company monitor their home, and with Debbie’s background, Home Watch was a natural fit.
The goal of Mains Co Home Watch is to provide their clients with peace of mind while they confidently leave their homes in the care of Debbie and her family. Because they are a family business, their clients will not have to worry about who will be monitoring their homes each week. Mains Co Home Watch will provide them with prompt, courteous, and professional services.
Debbie and her family take their clients’ privacy and trust very seriously and will do their best to keep them fully informed of what is happening while they are away. Debbie’s focus and dedication are to her husband, their three kids, and the family business they are building together.
Debbie enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering her time, and playing with the family’s two dogs, Mya and Copper.
