Shari Tabat
Space Coast Home Watch & Concierge Services of Indialantic, Florida, has earned Accredited Member status from the NHWA.
Owner Shari Tabat grew up in a suburb of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Having an entrepreneurial spirit, she started and ran a successful auditing service, which she owned for 22 years. In 2009, she followed her dream to move to Florida, the land of sun, palm trees, sand, and surf.
In 2017, Shari retired from her auditing career and obtained her real estate license. Her dreams of living near the beach came true in 2017 when she moved to Indialantic and started her real estate career. Many of Shari’s clients rely on her for additional services, including checking their home in their absence and coordinating and monitoring vendors/contractors’ work. Starting a Home Watch and concierge business was a natural extension of Shari’s real estate business. So, in 2021, Space Coast Home Watch & Concierge Services, a family-owned and -operated company, was started.
Shari and her son, Alexander, who works for the company as a Home Watch inspector, are graduates of the NHWA’s Home Watch Boot Camp and have earned the designation of Certified Home Watch Professional, which puts them into the category of elite Home Watch providers in the industry. The CHWP designation and Boot Camp training exemplify Shari and Alexander’s commitment to Home Watch excellence.
Shari is very active in her community, supporting and volunteering for various organizations, including Genesis House, Hospice of Health First, Brevard Public Schools, Brevard School Foundation, and Space Coast Basket Brigade. In her spare time, Shari walks on the beach and spends time with her goldendoodles, Bailey and Luna. Shari has two daughters and a son.
