Not Forgotten Home Watch Services of Saint George Island, FL, earns accreditation from the NHWA!
Jen and Todd Hingsbergen
Owners Todd and Jen Hingsbergen visited Saint George Island in April of 2019 on an anniversary trip and fell in love. In July of 2019, they closed on their home on SGI. Todd and Jen were not ready to retire but were ready to call SGI home. They began looking for local business opportunities so they could leave the Atlanta craziness behind.
In October, Todd reconnected with an old work friend living in Arizona who had launched his own Home Watch business. While visiting the Island for Thanksgiving, the lightbulb went off.. They noticed a need for the homeowners who do not rent out their homes. The property management companies on the Island are great; however, they manage homes for owners and investors looking to rent for income. Todd and Jen began researching and reading everything they could find about starting a Home Watch business. They wanted to create a solution for homeowners who want to spend their time in their vacation homes relaxing and enjoying the tranquility of the Forgotten Coast.
Owners do not want to spend their vacations replacing light bulbs, working with contractors, or any of the general maintenance that comes with home ownership. They know the stress of watching from afar as storms move in, the temperature drops, or just imagining what surprises they will find after months of their homes being unoccupied. Todd and Jen want to be their clients’ local advocate to manage their piece of paradise.
Todd and Jen are proud to be Accredited Members of the NHWA. Todd is a graduate of the NHWA’s Home Watch Boot Camp and has earned the designation of Certified Home Watch Professional, which puts him into the category of elite Home Watch providers in the industry. The CHWP designation and Boot Camp training exemplify Todd’s commitment to Home Watch excellence.
Todd and Jen have boy-and-girl twins who are in the ninth grade and love the Island as well. Todd and Caleb love to fish on the beach or on the pier. Madison likes to build sandcastles and swim. Jen is happiest on the beach with a book in her hands or collecting shells.
