On Cape Home Watch of Sandwich, Massachusetts, has earned Accredited Member status from the NHWA.
Owner John Fitzpatrick has paired his passion for home maintenance with professional, trusted Home Watch services. John spent the previous 37 years working for the USPS across Cape Cod and the Islands. For the last five of those years, he served as the Operations Manager overseeing the entire region. During that time, John also provided home maintenance services to many customers in the area, where he has seen firsthand the cost of not properly maintaining one’s home.
John says, “I love the Cape. Having worked in every town on Cape Cod and both islands, I have a breadth and depth of knowledge of the region and its usually beautiful, but sometimes incredibly harsh environment.”
John loves his work; he loves helping homeowners address problems and educating them on better options for long-term, problem-free home ownership.
John has a bachelor’s degree from Western New England University and is LSS Green Belt Certified in Change Management.
Along with Susan, his wife of 39 years, John has lived in Sandwich for the past 27 years. In their personal lives, they support the arts on Cape Cod. John has volunteered his time and talents with the Cotuit Center for the Arts, the Falmouth Theatre Guild, and the Woods Hole Theater Company. He was a Scoutmaster for several years, and for 12 years he was the Destination Imagination Coordinator and Coach at the Forestdale School. John and Susan have three grown children and one grandchild.
