One Stop Home Services of Sebastian, Florida, has earned Accredited Member status from the NHWA.
Owner Elvin Padilla started One Stop Home Services as a Home Watch and concierge company serving the Treasure Coast and Space Coast regions of Florida. Elvin is a licensed community association manager and property inspector in Florida, as well as a certified professional inspector under the International Association of Home Inspectors. Previously, he worked for 22 years as an educator, allowing him to obtain and develop many transferable skills, including customer service, conflict resolution, communication, and people skills.
For several years Elvin owned and operated a successful home inspection and property maintenance business in New York and Connecticut. This allowed him to utilize the skills he gained as an educator; it also allowed him to acquire new skills, such as marketing, budgeting, bookkeeping, management, and operations. As a home inspector, Elvin has gained a wealth of knowledge in property maintenance and repairs, new approaches to construction, building sciences, green energy, and smart home technology.
Elvin knows what it’s like to leave your property unattended for a period of time; it’s very stressful. Since he has a background and passion for home inspections and property maintenance, Elvin knew he could do a great service by becoming a Home Watch professional.
Throughout Elvin’s professional life, he has conducted many staff trainings and professional development sessions for real estate professionals, both in person and on virtual platforms, on assorted topics pertaining to home inspections, property maintenance, and property management. His experiences as an educator, home inspector, and business owner have allowed Elvin to further focus on developing his skills in being attentive to details, time management, planning, and coordination.
