Greetings and salutations!
Private Eyes Home Watch of Bonita Springs, Florida, has earned Accredited Member status in the NHWA.
Owner Jim Melberg and his wife, Paula, grew up and raised their family in Minnesota, the Land of 10,000 Lakes. They are very aware of what it’s like to be around water, and both the positive and negative effects it can have on one’s life and home. After Jim and Paula’s first vacation to Florida many years ago, they were hooked and knew this would be where they would be living and working in the future.
Fast-forward to 2014, and Jim and Paula’s dream came true. Making it through their first Florida summer, it only reinforced Jim’s understanding and belief that having a professional Home Watch service taking care of others’ homes is a must. After a year or so of operating Private Eyes, Jim began to research how the National Home Watch Association could help him improve his advertising and business practices. He finally contacted us after his friend Lisa Beringer of A Bonita Life became accredited with the NHWA. Lisa reinforced Jim’s decision to join our Home Watch community and be able to learn and share with other members from all over the US and Canada.
Jim comes from a service-industry background as a certified Master Auto Technician. He takes pride in taking the extra time to do things the right way and to be dependable, honest and trustworthy. Jim’s goal is to make his clients’ lives easier and stress-free, so that when they visit their piece of paradise in sunny Florida, it will be just as they left it—or maybe even a little better! We look forward to spending some time with Jim at our conference in September.
