Rocky Mountain Home Watch of Idaho Falls, Idaho, has earned accreditation from the NHWA for the third year.

Owners Mike and Debbie Glass started Rocky Mountain Home Watch with the idea of maximizing all of their ambitions and strengths, and to fulfill a huge need in their area. Southeast Idaho has lots of snowbirds in the winter and is the perfect place to vacation in the summer. With Island Park, Yellowstone, the Grant Tetons, and some of the best hunting, fishing, and boating around, Idaho is drawing people to this amazing place where Mike and Debbie live. People are also investing in second homes and rental properties and need help managing them while they are away.

Debbie is a graduate of the NHWA’s Home Watch Boot Camp and has earned the designation of Certified Home Watch Professional, which puts her into the category of elite Home Watch providers in the industry. The CHWP designation and Boot Camp training exemplify Debbie’s commitment to Home Watch excellence.

\Mike spent nine years in the U.S. Navy, in its Nuclear Power Program, and he continues to work as an automation consultant/trainer. He is very strong with electrical, electronics, automation and control systems and is good at solving problems. Mike is always looking for a more efficient way to do things. This has proven extremely useful with everything from cars to boats, to campers and homes. After teaching at a technical college for eight years, Mike and Debbie started a technical services company in 2000. The company provided various services such as troubleshooting complex problems with industrial plants and providing high-end, hands-on training in automation and electrical controls areas.

Debbie is also a licensed real estate agent and licensed cosmetologist. She has worked in numerous other roles in her career, including bookkeeping, banking, housekeeping, retail, childcare, and running the family business for 10 years. She was born and raised in Idaho and married “Navy guy” Mike 35 years ago. They have two grown sons and a daughter-in-law and have lived back in Idaho for the last 22 years.

In their spare time, Mike, Debbie, and the family love to fish. Their sons are both fly-fishing guides and learned their love of fishing from their dad. Mike and Debbie are always spending time with family and enjoying camping in the beautiful mountains, streams, and lakes that surround them. Debbie also loves working in her yard, planting flowers, visiting neighbors, and cooking.
