Sandcastles Home Watch of North Cape May, New Jersey, has earned Accredited Member status from the NHWA.

Owner Donna Marie Tarabbio was born and raised in Vineland, New Jersey. She spent summers enjoying the beaches from Ocean City to Cape May. Donna Marie was raised and worked in the family business of agriculture and transportation. She studied marketing and management at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Afterwards, she moved to the cities of Pittsburgh and Washington, D.C., working in the corporate world. Donna Marie has worked in property maintenance management since 1996, starting in Stone Harbor, moving into North Wildwood, Avalon, and finally in Cape May Point. She also did rental preparedness and changeovers. In addition, Donna Marie served on the Board of Directors at a condominium complex in North Wildwood.

Donna Marie is a meticulous organizer with an exacting eye for minor details. She performs off-season interior and exterior inspections and creates an inviting, stress-free arrival with concierge/delivery services. Sandcastles Home Watch is dependable and addresses its clients’ needs with thoroughness, respect, and integrity, communicating with clients every step of the way. An operations and logistics expert and absolute perfectionist with a 30-year career that spans various hospitality and customer service roles, Donna Marie’s unique skillset makes her a perfect person to watch over her clients’ Cape May County shore homes in their absence.

While attending a business event, Donna Marie met Jacqueline Moon, then-owner of Sandcastles Home Watch. The two became fast friends. Soon afterward, Jacqueline approached Donna Marie and asked if she would consider purchasing Jacqueline’s business, caring for her clients, and continuing the Sandcastles quest for excellence. Donna Marie purchased the company at the end of 2020. She is dedicated and driven to carry on the highest standards while assisting seasonal homeowners in managing and maintaining their homes. Donna Marie does this with experience, dedication, reliability, and above all, caring and trust. She enjoys challenges, finding better ways to get the job done, building relationships, and connecting people.
