Savvy Vacation Rental Management of Palm Springs, California, has earned Accredited Member status from the NHWA.
Owner Mathew Rogers moved from Las Vegas, Nevada, to Palm Springs in 2016 for the booming hospitality and real estate sectors. His first project was redeveloping and rebranding a 62-room boutique hotel, including a small restaurant. Mat also renovated and launched a local 30-room, mid-century modern hotel.
As he continued revitalizing hotels in the Palm Springs area, Mat also started helping friends manage their vacation homes. This started out as a side job but turned out to be a perfect fit, allowing Mat to utilize his expertise in design and development, construction, and home improvement. He now focuses on vacation rental management and this summer began offering Home Watch services to out-of-town homeowners who weren’t quite ready to start renting out their property but still needed help making sure it was well taken care of while they were out of town.
Mat graduated from the University of Central Florida in Real Estate Management and is currently a licensed real estate broker with State of California. He has extensive experience in construction and development, land use zoning and permitting, project management and hotel operations.
