Originally hailing from Indiana, owners Ché and Tom Fillbright embarked on a life-changing adventure when they decided to uproot their lives and move to the vibrant state of Florida. Their motivation was a deep bond with family. Ché and Tom made this momentous decision to care for Ché’s father, who needed their support during a challenging time.
Upon settling in their new Florida home, Ché and Tom didn’t just stop at taking care of Ché’s father. They extended their helping hands to friends and neighbors who owned second homes in the area. Recognizing the challenges of maintaining properties from a distance, the couple offered their assistance, ensuring these homes would remain in impeccable condition and providing peace of mind to homeowners who couldn’t be there year-round.
Their lives took an unexpected turn when Hurricane Ian swept through Pine Island, leaving devastation in its wake. Witnessing the destruction and realizing the overwhelming need for reliable Home Watch services, Ché and Tom saw an opportunity to turn their passion for caring into a full-fledged business venture. They combined their more than 40 years’ experience in construction, real estate, and insurance to establish their own Home Watch business.
With a blend of empathy and expertise, Ché and Tom founded their company, Secure Haven Home Watch, offering comprehensive Home Watch services. Their services went beyond mere tasks; they provided a sense of security and tranquility to homeowners facing the uncertainties of weather and distance. Their dedication and personalized approach quickly earned them the trust of the community they serve.
