Serenity Home Watch @ Dove Mountain of Marana, AZ, earns accreditation from the NHWA!

Greetings!

Serenity Home Watch @ Dove Mountain of Marana, Arizona, has earned Accredited Member status from the NHWA.

Co-owners Jean Slayback and Donna Adams live in the Del Webb Active Adult Community of Dove Mountain. They both worked at the front desk of the Saguaro Center and became fast friends. Jean and Donna got to know many residents while working as Resident Services Coordinators at the Center. They started “watching” their neighbors’ homes when they left town during the hot summer months. Then Jean and Donna decided to pursue a joint business venture, which resulted in the creation of Serenity Home Watch @ Dove Mountain.

Donna worked as a flight attendant for 24 years. After retirement, she met her husband, Brent, in 2015. They married in 2018 and moved from Colorado, where they’d resided since 1964, to Tucson in 2019. They never knew they could love living in the desert as much as they do.

Jean retired from Security Police with the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service. She relocated to the Marana area in 2013 to be closer to her daughter, who lives in Tucson. Jean has a son who is in the Air Force and is an Armament Systems Specialist based in England. She and her mom have lived in Del Webb as one of the first residents of this active community. Jean loves living in the desert and enjoying the warm weather and the views.
