Snowbird Home Patrol of New Port Richey, FL, earns Accredited Member status from the NHWA!
Owner Jodie Sullivan has lived in Pasco County for over 20 years and has been a business owner for more than 25. She owned a special events business for 24 years until two years ago and was trying to find another line of business. While talking to another business owner, one of his suggestions was house sitting. This struck a chord with Jodie, because about 10 years ago, her father’s water heater broke while he was away for the summer. After the cleanup, he hired a Home Watch company and told Jodie he thought she’d be great at doing it. So, when this person suggested house sitting, she said, “No, not house sitting—Home Watch!” Thus, Snowbird Home Patrol was born. It is a family-owned operation.
Having always been involved in the service industry, Jodie thrives on taking care of her clients and the community. She is an active member of the Rotary Club of Wesley Chapel and was awarded Rotarian of the Year in 2017. She is currently the President-Elect for the organization.
Jodie has earned the designation of NHWA Certified Home Watch Professional and has graduated from the NHWA’s Home Watch Boot Camp. The CHWP designation and Home Watch Boot Camp training show her commitment to providing excellent service to her clients.
I had the pleasure of meeting Jodie while I was on my Florida tour in January, right after she joined the NHWA.
A little about the National Home Watch Association: The NHWA was formed in 2009 in order to establish and maintain the highest industry standards for Home Watch and absentee homeowner services throughout the United States and Canada (www.nationalhomewatchassociation.org).
