Star Home Watch Services of Port Charlotte, FL, earns accreditation for the second year!

Brian Harrison

Star Home Watch Services of Port Charlotte, Florida, has earned accreditation from the NHWA for the second year.

Owner Brian Harrison is a lifetime resident of Charlotte County. His family moved there in 1968, when Brian was just a few weeks old.

After high school, Brian joined the U.S. Army as a Military Police officer, stationed in Panama during the removal of dictator Manuel Noriega. He then served in the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office for over 31 years as a Deputy, retiring as a Captain. During his tenure in law enforcement, Brian held many positions, primarily as a line supervisor and middle manager, including investigations, special operations, training director, and SWAT commander. As a 35-year law enforcement officer, Brian has a vast knowledge of the local community.

Upon retirement, Brian wanted to continue to provide service to the community. Star Home Watch Services provides a thorough inspection and detailed report with photos of the client’s property, giving them peace of mind while their property is unoccupied. Brian also offers storm preparation and concierge services on a case-by-case basis.

Brian’s connections and commitment to the community and his knowledge of trends in the area are assets to his clients. Every year, when seasonal residents started to arrive in Charlotte County for the winter, the Sheriff’s Office would be called because homes were burglarized, vandalized, received storm damage, had a water leak, or sometimes had squatters. As a Home Watch professional, Brian keeps a watchful eye on his clients’ properties, giving them peace of mind that someone is looking out for them.

Brian raised his family in Charlotte County and was known as “coach” by many, having coached youth sports for several years. He is an avid fisherman and likes to tinker with classic muscle cars. Brian has been married to his wife, Lisa, a teacher at Port Charlotte High School, for 33 years. They have three sons, one is a firefighter in Tampa, one is serving in the U.S. Military, and one is a property department appraiser for Charlotte County.

Star Home Watch Services serves Charlotte County, including Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, Charlotte Harbor, North Port, Murdock, and Englewood. You can reach Brian at (941) 909-2824 or at brian@starhomewatchservices.com. Learn more from his website, at  https://starhomewatchservices.com.

Congratulations, Brian!

As always, I wish you

Much success,

Jack Luber
