Summit Second Home Services of Breckenridge, CO, earns accreditation from the NHWA!

Stacy Sanchez
Summit Second Home Services of Breckenridge, Colorado, has earned Accredited Member status from the NHWA.
Owner Stacy Sanchez has called Breckenridge home since 1996. Originally born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, he first came to town as a visitor back in the late 80s and fell in love with the mountains. After graduating from the University of Kansas, Stacy worked at Sanborn Western Camps and the Colorado Outdoor Education Center before making the move to the mountains.
Stacy gained experience working for the Breckenridge Ski Resort, Town of Breckenridge, and Keystone Science School before obtaining a master’s degree in Outdoor Adventure Education from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. He accepted a seasonal job in Juneau, Alaska, before the call of Summit County beckoned him back to what Stacy considers one of the most beautiful places on the planet.
Stacy met and married into the small business world when he met his wife, Dina. Together they ran a business before selling and moving into real estate and property management. After several years in the high-end luxury home rental business and working for a local HOA company, Stacy has learned how to properly visit, inspect, and manage homes and properties in the high alpine winter environment. Stacy then realized that a specialized Home Watch business was needed for discerning customers who want someone dedicated to that service, as he noticed that several second homes were being put on a second-tier level compared to short term rentals.
Stacy brings a level of professionalism with best practices obtained from his time as a property manager and from the NHWA and is an avid user of technology for proper documentation and communication. Being an Accredited Member of the National Home Watch Association sets him apart, as it requires numerous items to obtain accreditation, including background check, proper business planning, and a specialized insurance for his offerings.
Summit Second Home Services serves the greater Breckenridge area, specifically The Highlands, Shock Hill and Penn Lode neighborhoods. Homes outside the Town of Breckenridge will be considered on a case-by-case basis. These towns include Blue River, Copper Mountain, Dillon, Frisco, Keystone and Silverthorne.
