Sunshine State’s Best Home Inspection & Home Watch Service of Estero, Florida, has earned Accredited Member status from the NHWA.
Owner Matt Durst first came to Florida in 1986 from Western Pennsylvania. He worked on Marco Island and immediately fell in love with the area and its people. After graduating from college, Matt moved back permanently in 1988. After living and working in Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, and Boca Raton, he came back to Southwest Florida in 2003. As a single father, Matt raised his three daughters in San Carlos Park, where they all graduated from Estero High School.
Matt has worked as a licensed Florida home inspector for many years now; his passion is helping people find and maintain a safe, sound, and comfortable home.
Matt understands the importance of identifying defects, whether prior to a new home purchase, during an extended period when the home is unoccupied, or during an insurance inspection. His goal is to always serve the best interests of his clients, and he doesn’t take that lightly.
Matt believes the value he can give a client is the education he has. He invests in himself continuously in attending live education classes and association meetings. Whether it be infra-red technology, advanced pool inspections, or mold testing, Matt is always maintaining the highest level of training possible.
Sunshine State’s Best Home Inspection & Home Watch Services is a family-owned and -operated business. They treat their clients’ homes like they are their own.
