Jack Luber
Executive Director

Greetings!

Tarpon Home Watch of Port Charlotte, Florida, has earned accreditation from the NHWA for the second year.

The ability to recognize even the smallest detail is one of the traits that owner John Poudrette brings to his business. John was born in Warren, Michigan, but moved to Port Charlotte in 1983. He began his career in 1990 as a law enforcement officer with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office. For the next 25 years, he served the citizens of Charlotte County as a road patrol officer and detective until retiring in 2015 as a Detective Corporal. Much of his career was spent as a detective investigating burglaries, thefts, home invasions, and even homicides.

John feels that his professional experiences have given him a solid work ethic and loyalty to his community. His attention to detail is a necessary quality while checking his clients’ most valuable investments—their homes.

John has also earned the designation of NHWA Certified Home Watch Professional.
