Home Concierge by Sam & Co. of Bonita Springs, Florida, has earned accreditation from the NHWA.
Owner Samantha Lombino has always enjoyed working in the service field. Sam earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Bridgeport. She had wanted to become a prosecutor, but after doing an internship in Connecticut, she decided that she wanted instead to help people in need with direct care. Sam worked as a case manager for dual-diagnosed (mental health and drug addiction) clients who were homeless. She had to reintegrate them into society. Sam also was in the hospitality industry on a part-time basis since she was 20.
When she moved to Florida in 2016, Sam decided she wanted a career where she could help people take care of their homes, especially those who worry about their homes when they are away. So, Sam got into property management and obtained her Florida CAM license to educate herself as much as possible about helping to maintain someone’s home or condo while working with HOAs. Sam obtained her real estate license as well, with the hope that she could eventually help people find the home of their dreams. But with working in property management there was always still a void; Sam wanted to help the residents more than her job called for. She wants to help one-on-one and develop a relationship with the homeowner. Sam wants them to have trust and faith in her and her abilities to take care of their homes and help them with their tasks.
When Hurricane Ian came to Naples and five feet of sewer water came into the property Sam worked for, it destroyed everyone’s cars and personal belongings. Residents were calling her 24/7, frantic and needing help. Sam was there in sewer water for five days, helping to salvage anything she could. She brought bins of residents’ family pictures, clothes, etc., to her home to clean them out and try to dry and salvage what she could. Sam took pictures, removed food from refrigerators, cleaned out freezers, etc. It was non-stop work, and she was so happy to help each person individually. She knew she had to come up with some way to start her own business to cater to each client’s needs.
Sam has two grown children, Kiara and Jason. Kiara is in Charlotte, NC, and Jay still lives in Florida with Sam; he is in the service industry. Sam also has two three-year-old Siamese cats, Loki & Lola. In her spare time, Sam loves to work on her flower garden. She is always busy with projects around her home. She loves trying all kinds of new restaurants and going on small weekend trips.
