Paul Gagnon
Major Domo Advantage Home Watch of Lincoln, Rhode Island, has earned Accredited Member status from the NHWA.
Owner Paul Gagnon has been a lifelong Rhode Islander and truly appreciates his state. After an enlistment in the U.S. Coast Guard, Paul became a police officer in Rhode Island where, during his 20-year career, he was assigned to Detectives, Crime Scenes, Community Relations, and a Patrol Supervisor. Paul’s second professional career brought him into the real estate sphere. He held an RI salesman license since 1988, working with buyers, sellers, and investment property owners. Having been a Realtor during the Great Recession of 2008, Paul learned hands-on what it took to maintain unoccupied homes for individual and corporate ownerships. Recently, as an Estate Manager for an ultra-high-net-worth family, he watched more than 10 homes, five watercraft, seven vehicles, and a 130,000-gallon swimming pool. Paul enjoys the responsibility of it all and has developed mutual respect with his vendors. He exudes a “can-do” attitude to his clients and gives appropriate feedback through written reporting.
Paul graduated from the Rhode Island Municipal Police Training Academy; the University of Rhode Island School of Forensic Science; and the James Woods School at Boston College. He also completed The Essentials of Household and Estate Management course run by Estate Management Solutions, based in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas.
This year, Paul decided that he’d like to work for himself in the same field he’s been in for 30 years. The knowledge, training, and skills he gained made the Home Watch and estate concierge business a perfect fit. The NHWA showed him that the business model is real and gave Paul the template to prepare his business plan.
In his spare time, Paul enjoys traveling, attending Off-Broadway shows, and spending quiet time with his poodle, Teddy.
