Scott Bidwell

Property Watch Ohio of Fairlawn, Ohio, has earned accreditation from the NHWA.

Owner Scott Bidwell, from Copley, Ohio, is deeply ingrained in community service as the driving force behind Property Watch Ohio. With his roots in Northeast Ohio, a degree from Lyndon State College in Northern Vermont, and prior ownership of a software company where he served a global clientele in the document management industry, Scott possesses a diverse background that has nurtured his passion for hands-on work and adept problem-solving.

Scott and his wife, Jocelyn, raised three children in Copley while actively contributing to the community. Scott’s commitment extended to 15 years of volunteering as a youth sports soccer coach, complemented by Jocelyn’s efforts in volunteering with Copley-Fairlawn schools.

Scott’s property care journey commenced with a passion for home remodeling and house flipping, defined by his meticulous attention to detail and hands-on approach. Well-known for rolling up his sleeves, Scott is always prepared to address various tasks, such as repairing a broken pipe, constructing a deck, or troubleshooting a computer issue.

The decision to embark on a Home Watch business was a natural progression of Scott’s interests and expertise. Propelled by unwavering loyalty to friends and community, coupled with his problem-solving mindset, Scott established Property Watch Ohio. His business philosophy is anchored in respect, integrity, and a steadfast commitment to doing things the right way.

Transitioning from a successful 25-year career in the software industry, Scott’s foray into property care was fueled by a yearning for a more hands-on venture. His unwavering dedication to excellence led him to the National Home Watch Association, where he seeks to expand his knowledge and connect with kindred professionals.

Scott’s background, characterized by accomplishments in both the software industry and home-related projects, was the catalyst for the creation of Property Watch Ohio. This enterprise allows him to apply his problem-solving skills to an industry where expertise can genuinely make a significant impact. Scott derives genuine fulfillment from enhancing homeowners’ peace of mind.

At Property Watch Ohio, Scott recognizes that a home transcends mere bricks and mortar; it’s a reflection of its owner. The team treats each property as if it were their own, ensuring unwavering dedication in caring for every aspect.
