West Palm Beach Home Management of Lake Worth Beach, Florida, has earned Accredited Member status from the NHWA.
When owners Katie and Bob Severance relocated to coastal Palm Beach County from northern New Jersey, they immediately saw a need for a highly professional Home Watch company for homeowners who are often not in residence. It would also be a perfect match for both of their client-centric skills.
Katie has been in the real estate industry for 22 years, specializing in luxury properties. She is the author of two books about buying and selling a home. Katie has been interviewed and quoted in the media on real estate topics, in such outlets as bankrate.com, U.S. News and World Report, Woman’s World, and on MSNBC. Hundreds of clients have entrusted Katie to oversee their homes when not in residence.
Prior to her real estate career, Katie was an Emmy Award-winning producer/writer, working on a variety of programs. It was while working on The Joan Rivers Show, interviewing celebrities, when she began her long path of interacting with entertainers, athletes, and high-net-worth individuals and understanding the importance of quality, responsive, top-tier concierge service.
Katie and Bob have owned and renovated multiple homes and investment properties. Katie has worked with hundreds of contractors and has seen and dealt with every conceivable issue that can crop up.
A graduate of the NHWA’s Home Watch Boot Camp, Katie has earned the designation of Certified Home Watch Professional, which puts her into the category of elite Home Watch providers in the industry. The CHWP designation and Boot Camp training exemplify Katie’s commitment to Home Watch excellence.
Bob spent his 30-year career in New York City servicing Fortune 500 companies in global advertising, focusing on client services. Top-tier service, integrity, clear and consistent communication, and fast response time were the hallmarks of his career.
As a young adult, Bob spent summers managing his family’s island properties in the Thousand Islands of northern New York State. There is always something to do or keep up with on a waterfront property. Bob has a very keen understanding of the attention to detail required of coastal homeownership.
Bob and Katie live with their son, Jack, in the historic College Park neighborhood of Lake Worth. When Bob is not working, he can probably be found fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, or playing tennis. Aside from Katie and Jack, the other great loves of his life are his two English Springer Spaniels.
