For more than two decades I have been privileged to work in the real estate industry in a variety of roles, primarily in the general brokerage and new home construction arenas. However, I began my career in the retail business. It was here that I built my foundation for understanding the value of customer service and delivering on a promise.

As I transitioned into general brokerage in 2000, I took the significance of customer service and the power of promise with me. I built my business with Long and Foster in Baltimore, Md . using customer service and promise as its cornerstone.

In 2002, familial changes had my family relocating to Charlotte, NC. It was here that I continued to round my real estate experience in the new home construction industry. I began with Toll Brothers in the sales office but wanted to learn more. I continued my evolution on the operation side by becoming a project manager with Toll Brothers overseeing sales, marketing, construction, warranty, and accounting for a single community.

As my thirst for knowledge needed quenching, I quickly realized that I needed to continue to round out my experience. I began my career with Ryland Homes as a superintendent, building homes for a year and a half. In 2007, the opportunity to move into the purchasing department became available. I seized the opportunity to continue my growth and made my way from a purchasing agent to the Purchasing Manager for the Charlotte and Raleigh markets. In 2012, our family moved to Northeast Florida. I continued with Ryland Homes as a consultant following the acquisition of a builder’s land position. In this role, I lead the team that converted the newly acquired subcontractors, data, and personnel into the Ryland Homes system.

As my tenure with Ryland Homes came to a close, I went back to my roots in general brokerage and chose Keller Williams for its culture and commitment to being a leader in the real estate industry. Today, I am still a real estate agent, but have added home watching to my quiver of real estate and property management skills.

In my spare time I spend time with my wife, Kelly and support my two daughters in pursuit of their sporting ventures. In that time, I have become a USA Swimming certified Stroke and Turn official to support my daughter’s year-round swimming. And, I coach my younger daughter on the softball field with her travel team. Personally, I enjoy working out through circuit training and the game of golf.
