Hello, my name is Bill Hurtle, owner of Lyme Home Watch LLC. I’m here to give you peace of mind knowing you have a bonded and insured, certified home watch professional monitoring your property when you are away.

I have lived in Lyme since 2013. I’m a federal civil servant nearing retirement and for the last 18 years I worked as a microbiologist at Plum Island Animal Disease Center for the Department of Homeland Security. Prior to that I was employed by the Department of the Army at the Life Science Test Facility at Dugway Proving Ground, Dugway Utah and as a Research Associate at the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases in Frederick Maryland.

Lyme is where I met my lovely wife, Jennifer Tiffany. Together we run From the Farm LLC, a cut flower operation and the Farmer’s Market at Tiffany Farms. From June to October, every Saturday morning, we sell our flowers at the market.

Over the years I have observed friends and relatives head south for the winter leaving their home unoccupied or having a nonprofessional home watcher monitor their property. They usually spend much of their time away wondering if their home is adequately watched. I’m here to take the worry out while you’re away by providing a consistent, dependable service that you may not receive from a relative or neighbor who is busy with other things.
