Kristen and Phil Riggs are the founders of Riggs Request, LLC serving the Lake of the Ozarks area in Central Missouri. They relocated from downtown Chicago in March of 2020 to spend two weeks at their favorite lake destination. At the time, Kristen was a meeting planner - producing multi-million dollar trade shows and conferences and and Phil was the director at an international trade association and previously served in the United States Navy. Both now serve as the Managing Partners at Riggs Request.

The charm of the lake soon turned into a full-time home for the couple in the Summer of 2020. For Kristen and Phil, who have three decades of lake memories on waterways across Wisconsin, Illinois and Missouri, it was an easy choice.

​Soon after they settled into their new home, they witnessed how many unoccupied lake homes there were in the off-season. For months, they learned from business owners, neighbors and other community members about the damage that many homes incurred due to severe weather conditions. Damage that might have been mitigated or avoided with a professional home watch provider.

Kristen has also earned her Certified Home Watch Professional (CHWP #07240415) designation through the National Home Watch Association (NHWA). The home watch company is also Accredited by the National Home Watch Association (NHWA) and carries the correct insurance coverage and bonding in order to protect their clients. Riggs Request, LLC has been reviewed by Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau and all company principals and employees have passed background checks. ​ They have also been named Missouri's Best Home Watch Company for 2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026.
