First Defense Home Watch of Cape Coral, FL, earns fifth-year accreditation. Congratulations!

First Defense Home Watch of Cape Coral, Florida, has earned fifth-year accreditation for its Home Watch services from the NHWA.

Owner Sean Linehan is a firefighter/paramedic who has served the Southwest Florida community for the last eight years. He has also lived in Southwest Florida for the past 16 years and adopted the Florida lifestyle.

Sean graduated from high school in 2013 with a Florida Firefighter 1 certification. He then obtained his Florida Firefighter 2 certification and Florida EMT license. After working for about five years, he completed a two-year paramedic course in 2017 and became a state-certified paramedic in 2019. Sean is currently working on obtaining his associate’s degree in emergency management.

During his time in Southwest Florida, Sean has seen an increase in the number of seasonal residents who come to Florida each year. While working with other in-home services, he realized that he could do something to benefit those seasonal residents. Sean has the qualities necessary to be a trusted Home Watch professional, someone people can have peace of mind about, knowing he is watching after their seasonal home. Sean has worked with several companies that provide in-home services to these residents, and he knows how much they care for their homes.

Sean and his wife, Brittany, were high school sweethearts and have been married for three years. Brittany is a critical care nurse in one of the local ICUs. Sean loves the outdoors and hanging with Brittany, family, and friends. They love taking their boat out, fishing, going to the beach, riding around in the woods, golfing, taking their dog on an adventure, or any activity that gets Sean off the couch!
