HomeWatch DroneWatch of Maricopa, Arizona, has earned accreditation for its Home Watch services from the NHWA for the third year.

Originally from the Chicago suburbs, Tim and Beth Gauen fell in love with the Phoenix Metro Area after several visits and decided to make Arizona their permanent home. They understand the anxiety homeowners feel when their properties are unoccupied and are committed to alleviating this stress through their comprehensive services. HomeWatch DroneWatch allows clients to relax and enjoy their time away, knowing that their home is under the careful watch of Tim and Beth.

Tim is a graduate of Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. In 1994, he co-founded a residential contracting business with a childhood friend, transforming it from a garage operation into a multi-million-dollar company specializing in cedar shake roof inspection and maintenance. Tim’s experience includes scheduling and supervising multiple crews, generating new customers, and resolving client concerns. Over three decades, he has developed a keen eye for identifying and addressing potential issues before they become problematic.

Tim and Beth have also ventured into the real estate market, owning several rental properties, including VRBO accommodations and a condo in North Phoenix. Their firsthand experience with the challenges of managing unoccupied properties inspired them to offer Home Watch services.

Tim is a licensed Realtor in Illinois and an FAA-licensed drone pilot, a unique qualification in the Home Watch industry. He utilizes his drone inspection skills to provide comprehensive monitoring of clients' properties, from top to bottom, inside and out. As a graduate of the NHWA’s Home Watch Boot Camp and a Certified Home Watch Professional (CHWP), Tim is among the elite in the industry, committed to Home Watch excellence.

Beth brings a diverse background to the business. She was a licensed massage therapist for 15 years and has worked as a fitness instructor and, most recently, an editor and copywriter. Her primary focus has always been her home and family, and she now manages the office operations for HomeWatch DroneWatch while Tim is out in the field.
