Founder and owner Gregory Nye is a lifelong resident of the Seacoast, bringing unmatched local knowledge and nearly three decades of law enforcement experience to his work.

During his 28-year career, Gregg rose to the rank of Patrol Sergeant, leading officers, managing critical incidents, and overseeing public safety operations. He also performed thousands of residential and commercial property checks and supported Neighborhood Crime Watch programs—experience that built the foundation for Seacoast Property Watch.

Gregg’s approach is highly personal and hands-on. Whether conducting a Home Watch inspection or monitoring a renovation project, he remains directly involved, making sure each property is cared for as if it were his own. His background in construction and project management allows him to go beyond traditional Home Watch services, sourcing trusted contractors and monitoring repairs with expertise and integrity.

As both a professional and a seasonal homeowner in Maine’s Lakes Region, Gregg understands the unique concerns that come with second-home ownership. Having relied on Home Watch services himself, he knows how valuable it is to have a trusted professional keeping an eye on things while you’re away.

Beyond his business, Gregg is deeply connected to his community and profession. He is an active member of several local law enforcement associations and Chambers of Commerce. He also donates his time to charitable causes, including the New Hampshire Law Enforcement Cancer and Charitable Foundation and several animal rescue organizations.
