Sentinel Homewatch of Bonita Springs, Florida, has earned accreditation for its Home Watch services from the NHWA for the second year.

Founder and owner John Bianco has hands-on experience, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a deep passion for providing reliable, high-quality Home Watch services. With a background in the trades, small business management, and non-profit leadership, he has built a career based on a strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to excellence.

As a young man, John moved to the mountains, lived off the grid, and learned how to be self-sustaining. He says, “This was an invaluable experience. I learned to work with my hands, building cabins and outbuildings, designing and installing alternative energy systems, working on trucks and farm equipment, installing plumbing and septic systems, and growing gardens for food. In addition to learning all of these new skills, this experience instilled in me a strong work ethic and sense of self-reliance. From there, with what I had learned, I started my own fixer-upper business and ran it successfully for many years.”

An entrepreneur for most of his career, John developed, maintained, and sold commercial property. He also worked in the non-profit sector, starting as a volunteer at St. Matthew’s House, wanting to give back to the community, and eventually becoming part of their management team.

John is now semi-retired, but he started Sentinel Homewatch to stay busy and continue his entrepreneurial ventures. He graduated from the NHWA’s Home Watch Boot Camp and has earned the designation of Certified Home Watch Professional (CHWP), placing him among the Home Watch industry’s elite providers. The CHWP designation and Boot Camp training exemplify John’s commitment to Home Watch excellence.

John and his wife, Mercedes, just bought a new home, and he spends much of his free time on home projects, riding bikes, flying planes, hiking, and spending time with their daughter, who is about to go off to college.

Sentinel Homewatch serves Bonita Springs, Naples, and Estero. You can reach John at (239) 419-1155 or john@sentinel-homewatch.com. Learn more from his website, at https://www.sentinel-homewatch.com.
