Meredith Cores
Tequesta Home Watch Service of Tequesta, Florida, has earned accreditation for its Home Watch services from the NHWA for the second year.
Owner Meredith Cores brings a wealth of experience and diverse skills to the business. Although she grew up in South Florida, Meredith and her husband, Carl, moved away after getting married. In late 2019, they purchased a vacation home in Tequesta, and Meredith became a snowbird, escaping the harsh winters of Cleveland, Ohio. When Carl retired, they moved to Tequesta full-time and decided to open a Home Watch business.
Many of Meredith and Carl’s friends are snowbirds who simply lock their doors and hope for the best when they head north. They also have a friend who does Home Watch and airport driving but is not insured, bonded, or accredited. This lack of professional credentials surprised Meredith, who now values the assurance that comes with NHWA accreditation.
Meredith graduated from the NHWA’s Home Watch Boot Camp and has earned the designation of Certified Home Watch Professional (CHWP), placing her among the Home Watch industry’s elite providers. The CHWP designation and Boot Camp training exemplify Meredith’s commitment to Home Watch excellence.
Meredith and Carl have been married for over 30 years. They have two Labrador Retrievers, Miller and Diesel. Meredith is an avid pickleball player, Martin County Master Gardener, and reader.
